First Season for the Rage

The first ever season for the Rocky Mountain Rage has come to an end.

In the regular season, Rage finished in 6th place in the West Division with a record of 7 wins and 17 losses (1 win and 1 loss each coming in a shootout).

At the NRL Championships, Rage had a 4-1 record in the round robin in Pool B.  This qualified them for a Crossover Playoff game versus the Rive-Sud Revolution.  Unfortunately Rive-Sud got the better of Rage on that day by a score of 7-2.

Rage ended up finishing in 11th place at the Championships in their inaugural season.

It was a great first season for the Rage, and we look forward to bigger and better things in 2026/27.

NRL Award Finalists

Rage had two NRL Award Finalists in its first season:

Dylan Pighin was a West nominee for Rookie of the Year.  And our coaching staff was a West nominee for Team Staff of the Year.

While neither one was selected as a winner we are extremely proud of Dylan and our coaching staff, on an outstanding first season.

Pub Night Fundraiser!

Thank you to all of our Rage fans and sponsors who attended our Pub Night fundraiser on March 21st at the Canadian Brewhouse in Cochrane!  The venue was packed, and a great time was had by all.  And the team was able to raise some much needs funds to help us with our expenses for this season.  Thank you so much for your support!

Community Engagement

The Rocky Mountain Rage is proud to be part of the communities in Southern Alberta where we play and train.  Look for Rage players & coaches volunteering at various events in Cochrane, Calgary, and the surrounding area.
